Candy Cap mushrooms are the dessert of mushrooms. This amazing mushroom has a faint scent of Maple syrup, burnt sugar, or curry. The flavor of this mushroom explodes after they are dried.
The Candy Cap generally isn’t used as the vegetable part of the dish but rather for flavouring dishes such as ice-cream and cookies.
There are many mushrooms that lend them-self to flavour appetizers or main dishes, and even salads. But few are this perfect for desserts. The Candy Cap mushroom is definitely one of my favourite mushrooms. Some smell Maple Syrup, some smell Curry, but whatever you smell this is one wild mushroom!

What an interesting mushroom! Smelled like a mix of syrup and pears. My wife smelled sweet curry. Such a cool product. I crushed a few and added to warm milk with a dash of cinnamon. I’m perplexed about how amazing these are 🙂
